Hermosa Orchards Village is a tiny home community that was specifically designed for people that desire a sense of community and outdoor space.  Our larger lot sizes range from 3600 sq' to over 6000 sq' provide more space around your home for enjoyment of outdoor living areas, decks, raised beds, gardens, she sheds, etc.  Hermosa Orchards Village is a vibrant community located on 7 acres in the beautiful Animas River Valley of Durango, Colorado. Purgatory Ski Resort is 16 miles North and Durango Hot Springs Resort is 1.5 mile South. Just a few minutes away are James Ranch Grill & Market and PJ's Grocery and Liquor store where you can find locally grown and produced foods, meat, cheese and produce.  Walk to the Hermosa Creek Grill for Breakfast and Lunch or ride/hike the world class Hermosa Creek trail from your front door.

Voted one of the best outdoor towns in the US, you will find an abundance great hiking, biking, camping, fishing, rafting, etc.. A few hours away and you are in the beautiful canyon lands and deserts of Utah and New Mexico. The winters are generally mild in Durango however just up the mountain the skiing is great at Purgatory Resort.
